On April 30, 2023, between the hours of 8.00 AM to 4.15 PM Northern Caribbean University Department of Graduate Education & Leadership conducted a leadership training workshop on behalf of ASI Inter-America Division English Region. The theme was “Leadership and Effectiveness” and focused on how as leaders we can be more impactful on the organizations and groups that we lead.

Pastor Michael Henry -Education Director, Jamaica Union of Seventh-day Adventist
Dr. Daniel Allida - Associate Professor, Department of Graduate Education & Leadership
Dr. Vincent Peterkin – Dean Department of Humanities and Behavioral Science
The presentations were;
All the presentations were done in an interactive manner with participants being allowed to ask questions and engage in discussions with the professors. A total of forty-eight persons attended and benefitted from these very relevant topics. Many expressed their delight at what they received and indicated ways in which the principles taught would be incorporated into their organizations and their role as leaders.
ASI-IAD Vice President Rohan Riley, who facilitated the event, thanked Dr. Mauzard the NCU professors for their willingness to contribute towards the development of the ASI organization in the region.
